P:A Snow-Flower Called Fhigher by Pedigri P:A Snow-Flower Called Fhigher by Pedigri
Category: Pattern (P)

Music I listened to while drawing Combichrist "This is my rifle" (Remix)
Goal To try something new. To see if I can make something pretty without much post-working. To create a basis for more patterns. To create an image that has natural, simple colours. To achieve an effect of complictaed symmetry. To create something of intricate detail.
Additional goals achieved This deviation It was a base for other circlets of amazing details and shapes. The effect of adding the Kaleidoscope filter on this deviation really surpised me.
Technique The image "Women Like Roses Have Thorns" in it's original colour scheme (it was drawn with a blue ball point pen) was modified by the Kaleidoscope Filter in Paintshop. That's all.
Story It was just an experiment with my favourite Kaleidoscope filter.
Next experiment I plan to make a deviation like "Women Like Roses Have Thorns", but this time I'll draw it using green, red, black etc. ball point pens in the same drawing.
Time spent on this About a couple of minuts to find the best pattern of many, many possible.
Dedicated to This image is dedicated to everyone, who watches me, faved my artworks, commented on them and has been a great friend. Thanks, everyone!
The inspiration for the name Oh, I just noticed while submitting this image that the word "flower" sounds nice when I change the letters into "fhigher"; it resembles the word "fire". At first I planned to call it "Snowflower", hence the snow - fire contrast.

Thanks for taking a look. Best wishes to You, my Friends.

Oh, wow. I hope I get the patience to do something like that one say. I'm at least working on it! ^^;

How did you make the stars so perfect? I find it really hard to make stars.

Look at the comment. The technique is described in details there. Basically I just drew some thorns with a normal ball point pen and then used the "Kaleidoscope" filter in Paintshop :)

If I had money, and this was a print, I would so buy it.

Well, if it doesn't make a difference you can download it and print it somewhere outside DA like in some kind of printing house:) You don't have to pay me for it. I don't mind if You use this artwork this way.
That would be a kind of present from me for you:)
Thanks for the comment.
That's funny, I was on your user page and thought of the same as I looked on the note with the date of your birthday. That was litteraly seconds ago:D Telepathy?
